Section A – Collection and Usage
Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our mailing list. We only collect certain data about you:
Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.
The data will be used to create a mailing list in order to send members news about offers and new product launches and to engage in market research.
We do not share your information with third parties.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information is collected for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
Section B – Consent
Consent to this policy will be asked at the point of on-line registration for the mailing list and/or at the point of purchase.
If the person filling in the application form for the mailing list, or making a purchase, does not agree to this policy then they cannot be registered or finalise their order.
For the mailing list, we provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time. See any marketing messages for instructions on how to unsubscribe or manage your preferences.
Section C – Retention
The information collected for the mailing list will be stored on the EMS whilst you are a signed up member of the list. For full details of this policy please see Section D.
A local back-up of the mailing list will be kept on an encrypted laptop.
If you no longer want us to hold your data following a purchase, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
Should Mitty & Wilf cease trading then the information will be deleted.
Section D - Email marketing messages & subscription
Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages.
Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.
Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR.
Our EMS provider is OHWO.
